Israeli authorities released on Tuesday evening a Palestinian administrative prisoner from Koufor Aien village, near Ramallah, due to his serious health condition.
Amjad al-Najar, the head of the Palestinian Prisoners Society in Hebron, explained that the Israeli authorities transferred the prisoner, Rami al-Barghothi, to the al-Thahryeh checkpoint and later on to the al-Ahly governmental hospital where he will receive medical treatment.
He added that the prisoner has been under arrest since January and that Barghothi has been under administrative detention several times before.
On the other hand, the Ofer military court discussed today the extension of the last detention of the youngest administrative prisoner, Ahmad al-Remawy, 20 years old, who has been on hunger strike for 22 days. This is the fourth time his detention gets extended, since he was been arrested in November 2012.
Additionally, the lawyer Mahmoud Hassan said that Naqab prison administration seized the belongings of the administrative prisoners.
