The Israeli Occupation Forces arrested a Palestinian, and caused considerable damage in the electricity and water networks, during a raid in the West Bank city of Jenin yesterday.
Local sources have reported that the IOF arrested Qais Mazen al-Sa’ady, 22 years old, after entering the city of Jenin and the refugee camp with more than 40 military vehicles and firing tear gas, sound bombs and rubber bullets.
The army broke into several houses and interrogated the residents in the eastern part of the city and in the camp, and they also caused deliberate damage to the electricity and water networks.
The local sources added that the soldiers also raided the ER and the area next to the Al-Shaheed Khaliel Suleiman governmental hospital, and set snipers on the rooftops of surrounding buildings.
During the raid clashes erupted between the IOF and the Palestinian youth in the camp; the army shot tear gas to the protesters, which caused many of them to suffer from suffocation.
