Israeli Occupation Forces arrested 25 Palestinians, including a woman last night

The Israeli Occupation Forces arrested 25 Palestinians last night, including one woman, from Jerusalem and West Bank cities.

Hani Halabyeh, spokesman of the popular committees against the wall and settlements in East Jerusalem, declared that around 25 military Jeeps raided al-Azaryeh town, east of Jerusalem and arrested 12 Palestinians including one woman.

He added the woman is the wife of Alaa Adwan, and that the arrest is probably to put pressure on her husband, who has been on hunger strike for over a month against administrative detention. The other Palestinians are youth who were injured during the demonstration against the wall.

The arrested have been identified as: Ihab Raed Abu Rami, Mohammad Sami Basah, Ragheb Mousa Jaber, Hashim Jamil Abu Zyad, Mohammad al-Sasbea, Mohammad Bsam al-Snawy, Yousef Waleed Abu Romi and the brothers Mahmoud, Wisam, and Mohammad Ahmad al-Mkhal .

In Jenin, north of West Bank, the IOF arrested seven Palestinians from the city and the refugee camp.

Palestinian security sources have reported that the Israeli army raided the city firing tear gas, rubber bullets and live ammunition. Then they searched the houses and took Ala’a Yousef al-Qarout, 21 years old, Osaye Rami al-Boul, 21, Mohammad Jaber Zakarneh , Wasieem Abed Jasem  Mary,24,  Isam  Jamal  Abu el- Higa and the brothers Shawqi Taher Zakarneh, 22, and Ahmad  Taher Zakarneh to an unknown location.

Palestinian security sources reported that the Israeli army also arrested three Palestinians from the cities of Hebron and Yatta, after breaking into their homes and rummaging the contents

The arrested have been identified as: Yousef Ghith , Shaher al-Qwasmeh, and Bajes al-Dababseh.

In a related context, the IOF set military checkpoints on the main entrance of the city, and stopped several vehicles to check the interior and passengers’ IDs.

Additionally, the Israeli army arrested three Palestinians from Aida refugee camp, located near Bethlehem.

Palestinian security sources reported that the Israeli army arrested Ahmad Amer, 22 years old, Khader Abu Khudair, 19 years old, and Ahmad Ibrahim Eid, 17 years old.
