RAMALLAH August 4, 2014 (WAFA) – Minister of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs  Issa Qaraqe said that Israeli forces executed  Palestinians in Gaza immediately after their arrest, even though they were non combatants.

Qaraqe said that Israeli army arrested around 300 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip during their ongoing aggression on the strip. He added that Israeli army also executed Palestinians who raised their hands in surrender during their invasion into populated areas in the Gaza Strip.

Qaraqe said that detainees were subjected to torture during interrogation, some of whom were transferred to Israeli hospitals, while the others are still under investigation and torture.

Qaraqe warned that in the midst of the massacres and continued aggression there were many missing citizens who have been arrested and murdered in brutal manners and reprisals.

He called upon the International Committee of the Red Cross to promptly move to uncover the fate of the prisoners who were arrested in the Gaza Strip and the circumstances and conditions of their detention.

On the other hand, Qaraqe noted that during the aggression on the Gaza Strip the prisoners in Israeli jails are not reassured about the conditions of their families, where many family members of the Gaza prisoners have been killed without informing the prisoners who are subjected to a media siege and are prevented from any visits, with repressive and brutal procedures during the aggression.
